The code of ethics agreement is a binding contract made between two parties, one of whom is the “Organization” or the company or institution that has created the code of ethics for their members to follow, while the other is the “Member” or an individual who is connected with the “Organization” and has to adhere to the code of ethics.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Membership. Once you become the “Member” of National Wildfire Association of Dallas (NWAD), you will remain in probation for a 1-year period starting from the date of initial membership. During this period, you will not be entitled to any of the Appeal Rights as mentioned in Section 14 of this Code of Ethics Agreement till you complete one year as a member without any violations of this agreement.
  • Non-Compliance. If any “Member” of NWAD is found to be in violation of this Code of Ethics Agreement, then the Board has the authority to terminate his/her membership with NWAD effective immediately.
  • Complaints. Until and unless a formal complaint is filed against a “Member” of NWAD, such a “Members” membership cannot be terminated. The complaint should be in writing and specify the reason for complaint including any breach of Code of Ethics Agreement by the “Member”.
  • Arbitration. Except as otherwise mentioned in this Code of Ethics Agreement, if there is a dispute between NWAD and a “Member” with respect to breach of contract, arbitration can be applied based on the rules and terms of the American Arbitration Association. If Arbitration is enforced then the decision of the “Arbitrator” will be final.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties “Organization” and “Member” have executed this Code of Ethics Agreement as on the date set forth which is 11/16/2011 (MM/DD/YY).
